Dr. Mehrabi is a board-qualified podiatrist specializing in surgical and non-surgical treatment of
foot and ankle conditions. He provides compassionate, patient-centered care in a private
podiatry clinic in Glendale, California with a focus on restoring mobility and improving quality of
life.
Dr. Mehrabi studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning his bachelor’s degree in
psychology with satisfactory completion of pre-medicine course.
After UCLA, Dr. Mehrabi joined the microbiology and immunology laboratory of Dr. Sarkis
Mazmanian at California Institute of Technology working on autoimmune disease on animal
models. He has co-authored on the research paper ‘The Protective Role of Bacteroides fragilis
in a Murine Model of Colitis-Associated Colorectal Cancer’ in American Society for Microbiology.
After finishing his research project at Caltech, Dr. Mehrabi enrolled at the Western University of
Health Sciences in Pomona, California, earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
He completed his surgical residency at West Covina Medical Center, with additional clinical and
surgical training at Keck Hospital of USC, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, and LA Downtown Medical
Center. His residency experience included advanced training in diabetic wound care, limb-
salvage, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
His areas of expertise include treatment and management of ankle fractures, tendon
rupture/tendonitis/tendonosis, diabetic foot care, ulcer and wound management, bunion and
hammertoe correction, and ingrown toenail treatment. Dr. Mehrabi is board-qualified by the
American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and is a proud member of the American
Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).
Dr. Mehrabi speaks English and Armenian fluently & proficient in conversational Farsi.
Beyond his practice, Dr. Mehrabi enjoys an active lifestyle—he loves playing tennis, hiking,
traveling, and spending quality time with his family.
