Mechanic for Fleet of NEMT Ford Vans in North Hollywood, CA

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of Ford vans to ensure all vehicles operate safely and efficiently. This role is vital to keeping our transportation services running smoothly and minimizing vehicle downtime.
Conduct regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of Ford vans.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems.
Perform oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations, brake adjustments, and other routine services.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
Order necessary parts and equipment to perform repairs efficiently.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Work closely with the dispatch and administrative team to schedule maintenance and address any immediate vehicle needs.
